What's Your Money Making or Wealth Building 'Profit Plan'?

I was hanging out yesterday with a close friend of mine. I'll refer to him as RD.

He's interested in wealth building information and considers himself a 'millionaire in the making'. So I try to help him out whenever possible.

Anyway, we were talking about everything from family concerns to how to make money during challenging times.

RD shared with me that he has been working on a new business venture which he hopes will have major financial success somewhere down the line. Hearing his business’ description, I told him its potential for wealth creation sounded strong.

On the topic of wealth building, I shared one of my millionaire secrets with him that he is now using as an immediate way to convert his business’s 'potential' into fast money while adding ongoing income streams as well.

Now, before I share what I said to help him turn future potential into present profit, let me back up a minute and reveal the rest of his compelling story...

You see, unfortunately, his wife lost her fight against cancer last year. Which makes him a single dad now.

As you may remember if you've been a long-time subscriber of mine, I had to rescue my l3-year-old nephew last year (which is a whole 'nother story). So, I definitely can understand SOME aspects of how challenging it is for him to handle the entire household and all the financial issues alone at this point in his life.

Obviously, I make every effort to help him out and go the extra mile for him whenever I can.

He's an absolutely amazing guy – a very sharp, caring, spiritual person with a great sense of vision and imagination about where things can go business-wise, etc. And he's had some great successes in the past. But, he's always struggled to get to millionaire level. Especially since he's starting from scratch all over again right now.

Well, one of the things he's really quite amazing at is making connections with High Rollers. Millionaires and other highly successful people. People who have had great business success and know how to make things happen.

He's really great at doing whatever he has to do to make the connections he wants to make. He's very persistent too. Especially when making connections with people who could end up making him lots of money.

(I think we get along so well because we both absolutely LOVE to find ways to create win-win deals.)

So anyway, we were hanging out by the pool brainstorming on some money-making ideas while his son Josef (RD calls him 'Treasure') and his son's friend James were swimming. RD got a phone call from his son's soccer coach. Turns out his son had soccer practice that started in l5 minutes. So, we packed up and took off to get his son to soccer practice.

As we were sitting on the grass watching his son's soccer game, my friend was talking about all the 'potential' networking and business success that exists within the connections he has with all these people he knows.

Well, I know what kind of financial challenges he's been facing lately because things had gotten so bad that he actually had to borrow money from his son's piggy bank (with his son's permissions of course) just so they could get something to eat. (I know. Crazy, right? I felt so bad about that I wrote him a check for $1,000 on the spot to help out.)

Anyway, my point is that I knew he is in the middle of some financially frustrating times right now.

So, knowing about his financial challenges, I couldn't help but think about all the discussion around the issue of the 'potential' that possibly exists from these connections he's made.

I knew he needed to do something immediately to make money ASAP. And if he ever really wanted to build wealth or become a millionaire it was time to get things going NOW!

So, at one point, I turned to him and I said...

"What's your Profit Plan?"

I went on, "potential is all well and good. But right now you need more than just potential. You need to make some money. And you need to start creating wealth and do it NOW!"

"It's great that you've made all these connections that 'might' lead to something. But, what is your PLAN to start making at least SOME money in the next 1o days? Or at least in the next 3o days?"

He immediately agreed with me. And we started brainstorming on his plan.

About 6o seconds later I laid out a path for him to start making money right away from this venture.

How did I do it?

What I came up with was a concept that allows him to not only create ongoing income streams from present resources he has, but also by combining a few key resources it could become a huge cash windfall for him shortly thereafter as well.

HOW exactly are you going to create some more money for yourself in the next 10-3o days? Or even in the next 3 months or less?

Or,

HOW exactly are you going to increase your income and take it to the next level from what you're already doing?

The next question is HOW OFTEN are you creating, reviewing and adjusting your Profit Plan on an ongoing basis so you can continuously and consistently build towards wealth and millionaire status (if that's the level you want to get to)?

Because until you've figured out your Profit Plan, it's that much harder and that much more UNlikely that you'll see the financial increases in your life that you'd like to have (at least it's not likely to happen anytime soon).

It's a simple concept.

But, it's one that should be used ASAP and on an ongoing basis to keep taking things to the next level.
